In January, 2008, Institute of Three-North Feline was founded in Jinzhong.

Institute of Three-North Feline is the only civilian institute where the research field is mainly wild feline. Before the foundation of this insitute, we have spent ten years to capture photos and videos of the wild feline, which includes 19 leopards, leopard cats, and Zongwen Tigers. We have organized a lot of notes. From the investigations outdoors for a long time, we have summarized a group of professional methods for outdoors investigations, which include tracking, capturing, studying these big cats in great nature.

Institute of Three-North Feline will continue to study the wild feline in Shanxi and Three North. At the sam time, we will do some investigation of wild animal resources in other parts of China.

We will provide photos and videos of Chinese wild feline to demonstrate the mystery of them. We will let the public know the situation of Chinese wild feline, thus, the public will understand the importance of protecting these wild animals. By providing detailed data, we will assist the government to construct and protect the habitat of wild feline.
